WHF partnered with WEGMANS in Princeton, New Jersey and three leading hospitals in the Mercer County area to conduct a free heart screening and provide promotional gifts with vocational materials. Special thanks to University Medical Center Princeton, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton, Capital Health System and to our host - Wegmans - for making this outreach possible. Over 300 women received screenings, heart health information and a Women's Heart Week T-shirt.WHF held a raffle with prizes. The outreach was sponsored by the New Jersey Office on Women's Health.

Forming a coalition for women's heart wellness, hospitals from around the state are collaborating with WHF to administer new heart wellness and awareness programs to promote early intervention of heart disease in women, as part of a year-long campaign: Take New Jersey Women to Heart.
