WOMEN'S HEART FOUNDATION NAMED BENEFICIARY OF THE MODEL TROUPE "FACEOFF" fundraiser to take place August 18 in famed Philadelphia auto museum

Aug17, 2012 Philadelphia   - Acereel Studio officially announced today their participation in 17...Days of Fashion 3rd annual event, naming the Women's Heart Foundation to be the recipient of funds generated by a competitive fashion show and race car display event, to take place August 18 at the Simeone Automotive Museum in Philadelphia. The 17...Days of Fashion has adopted the slogan: "IT IS FASHIONABLE TO BE CHARITABLE", and the Acereel Studio's Full-Figured SMOOCHES models will sponsor the first ever FULL FIGURED MODEL TROUPE COMPETITION in Philadelphia with a head to head runway battle with Curvy Closet models. The two groups will compete on the runway in an effort to bring awareness to and raise money for the Women's Heart Foundation. The Runway Battle/Fashion Show is one of over twenty events commemorating this year's 17...Days of Fashion, highlighting the fashion industry in Philadelphia. "We want to educate the public about heart disease and how it affects the African-American Community, particularly women, potentially saving lives in the process", said Chante Bradley, CEO of Acereel Studio. Heart disease is the #1 killer of women and African American women suffer the highest mortality of any group. This will be Acereel Studio's Smooches Models second year partnering with the Women's Heart Foundation. The Pre-Event will take place 6:00pm - 7:45pm where VIP supporters will be given the opportunity to tour one of the world's greatest collection of racing sports cars in the world, while enjoying lite fare networking with some of Philadelphia's fashion industry's Who's Who. There will be VIP seating at the main event - "The Runway Battle" - that will take place 8:00pm-10:00pm. Acereel Studio's Smooches models, Curvy Closet models and some of Philadelphia's up-and-coming designers and performing artists will take the stage for this exciting faceoff competition.
